Santa is always a favourite

During the event, Christ Church United in Chesterville had a bake table with a wide selection of delicious home baking, the Chesterville & District Lions Club had Christmas cakes and Christmas cookies for sale and the local fire department had a table with information and gadgets available.
Ruth Gilroy and Christine Cross Barkley organized the event, which seems to be growing larger each year. Gilroy expressed her amazement at the turnout, with some estimating several hundred people enjoyed this seasonal tradition throughout the morning.
Gilroy thanked Christine Schuler for organizing the craft tables, the student volunteers and the Rotary Club members who worked together to make the Breakfast with Santa successful. She gave a special thank you to Santa and his elves as well as Chesterville’s Ace Hardware, Greg’s Quality Meats of Winchester and Mike Dean’s Super Food Store in Chesterville for their donations to the event.
