CHESTERVILLE—The North Dundas Atom C1 Demons played a single game this past week as they played the visitors to the North Dundas C2 Demons on Thursday night.

The North Dundas Atom C1 Demons were the visitors at the Chesterville Arena on Thurs., Feb. 14, as they played their sister team, the C2 Demons in the UCMHL. The C1 Demons sat in a second place tie with the South Grenville C2 Rangers and the Brockville C2 Braves and one point behind the Brockville C1 Braves in first place and one point ahead of the C2 Demons.
The C1 Demons opened the scoring when Jack Robinson fired one to the back of the net from Michael Dean at 7:21 taking a 1-0 lead. The C2 Demons answered with just 1:54 remaining in the opening frame as Liam West scored from Spencer Sharpley but the C1 Demons retook the lead from Robinson when Aiden LeClair lit the lamp with just 34 seconds showing on the clock. The C1 Demons took a 2-1 lead into the second period.
The C2 Demons tied the game with just 1:20 remaining in the sandwich frame as Hunter Viau scored from Kaden Guy. The teams took a two-all draw into the third period.
The two local teams battled hard for the game-winning goal but it wasn’t to be as they had to settle for a two-all stalemate. Playing goal for the C1 Demons was Matthew Seguin and for the C2 Demons was Cohen Gilmer.

The North Dundas Atom C1 Demons travel to the Morrisburg Arena on Sat., Feb 23, to take on the South Dundas Lions for their last game of the regular season at 2:30 p.m.
