House of Lazarus Client Service Manager Kim Merkley and Executive Assistant Janet Carkner help book lovers look through the thousands of books for sale at the Winchester United Church for the HOL Book Sale on Fri., Oct. 20, which ran until Sat., Oct. 21. The sale raised $1,100 in support of the HOL with a large chunk of the inventory being sold throughout the two-day sale. On Saturday at noon, books were sold in bags for discounted prices and any remaining inventory will continue to be sold at the HOL location for the remainder of the week.    Sawyer Helmer photo
