There was a great selection of holiday gifts, home decorations and treats for purchase at the 2023 Wild and Woolly’s Winter Bazaar held on Fri., Dec. 8 at the Carefor North Stor Support Centre (CNSSC) in Finch. Jo-Anne Page-Coté, who organized the event with CNSSC Program Co-ordinator Sheena Stoqua, explained the Wild and Woolly Ladies is a group that meets at the Support Centre each Friday afternoon and socializes while knitting or crocheting items. She mentioned that the money raised from the silent auction would be provided to Meals on Wheels in the North Stor Support Centre, and proceeds from the tables organized by members of the group would be used towards the purchase of new chairs for the lounge room. After adding that 12 afghan blankets created by the group will be provided to Baldwin House in Cornwall and 12 to Interlude House in Hawkesbury, she wished all a Merry Christmas and thanked people for their patronage.
