Four sisters from across the region have found an interesting way to fundraise for different causes. The group, called The Training Buddies, made up of the Milne sisters first started to fundraise by running during Canada’s 150th celebration. They have kept up the tradition ever since. They donate $25 each for a total of $100 and select a charity to give to then head out for a 5 km run. Their latest donation was to Canadian Tire’s Jump Start program. On Mon., Aug. 30 the group ran through Inkerman. In this photo they celebrated finishing their run. Left to right is Karen, Nancy, Marian and Patti Milne. Morin Photo
