Despite the chilly and somewhat rainy weather, a large crowd of people of all ages gathered under overcast skies at the cenotaph located on the grounds of RCL Legion Branch 372 in Russell. As in other communities here in Canada, and around the world, the Remembrance Day ceremony acknowledged the appreciation felt for those who served their country as well as acknowledging the debt owed to them by a grateful community. Following the Service of Remembrance, people were invited to enjoy some socialization and light refreshments. Thompson Goddard Photo
