WINCHESTER – The weather was a bit dull and wet, but that did not dampen the spirits of the people who attended the Family Fun Day at the 100 Club Park in Winchester.  Organized by the Winchester & District Memorial Hospital (WDMH)l Foundation, the event offered the opportunity to learn about our local hospital, socialize, play some lawn games and enjoy a bite to eat.

Justine Plummer, Manager of Direct Mail and Events for the WDMH Foundation, offered a sincere “thank you to the community and sponsors for supporting the event and enjoying family activities in the park.

She explained how firefighters from North Dundas Fire Station 3 in Winchester brought a fire truck for people to look at, barbequed hot dogs and served up refreshments while nearby the Dundas Dairy Committee provided ice cream for dessert.
