IROQUOIS – Once again, there was a fantastic turnout at the Breakfast Buffet with the Easter Bunny event held on March 24 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 370. 450 people of all ages attended the event which was organized by the Iroquois and District Business Group and has been held for over 10 years.
“It’s always fun for children of all ages!” commented John Malcolm of Iroquois during the action-packed event. After enjoying a breakfast which included pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, croissants, baked beans and home fries accompanied by juice, tea and coffee, there was lots to see and do for people of all ages. There was the opportunity to enter a colouring contest, have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny, enjoy creating at the craft tables or perhaps visit the live animals from Vanderlaand the Barnyard Zoo. There was the opportunity to guess how many jellybeans were in the jar or enter an Easter Basket Draw with different draws available for youngsters and adults.
Candace Latulippe, on behalf of the Iroquois and District Business Group thanked those who volunteered at the event, which included members of the Iroquois Legion, Iroquois-Matilda Lions, the Junior Lions, Angie Marchand, and River Rat Treasures. “Amazing Day! So proud of how everyone works together” commented Latulippe.
