A group of South Stormont residents quietly gathered at the Ingleside War Memorial on March 15 to watch as a wreath, created with fabric in the colours of the Ukrainian flag, was laid at the base of the memorial. Piper Ken Stephens piped the Ukrainian national anthem, O Canada and Amazing Grace during the ceremony. Noel Windle, representing Royal Canadian Legion Branch 569, laid the wreath.
