On Sat., Sept 11 the St. Paul’s Community Garden held a fundraising event featuring Fries for Charity brought to Winchester by Al Graham. The event raised $2,710.40 for the garden and Community Food Share. The garden has produced 514 lbs. of potatoes so far this season for Community Food Share clients. Harvesting will continue into October, when the garden will be put to bed for the winter. St. Paul’s Community Garden is a partnership between St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church and Community Food Share. In 2021, approximately 25 volunteers helped regularly with planting, weeding, watering and harvesting the garden. In the photo left to right are: Back row: Emma Bell, Avery Summers, Alison Summers.
