RUSSELL – The Kin Club of Russell’s Catch the Ace jackpot now exceeds $163,000 and yesterday’s (Sun., Jan. 3) weekly winner, Paul Villeneuve, won $8,114, however, he drew the Three of Clubs (envelope #31). Paul smiled when asked what he had planned for his winnings, “A new lawn tractor” he beamed!
The Kin Club of Russell’s 3rd Catch the Ace lottery just surpassed over $250,000 in profits to be donated back to their community. The funds, now growing over $20,000 per week and increasing, will be directed to; Breast Cancer Action, Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Osgoode Senior Care Centre, Valoris Foundation, Russell Minor Hockey Association and Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation once the lottery has concluded.
There are now only 16 envelopes remaining and Catch the Ace ticket sales, thanks to online ticket purchases ($5.00 each ticket) at www.kinclubofrussell.ca/catch-the-ace have already set sales records and has purchasers from 185 communities across Ontario.
Due to COVID restrictions and the lockdown, the next several draws will not be held at Étienne Brûlé Brewery but privately. Next draw is Sun., Jan. 10 and paper ticket sales close at all retail locations (see our website above for retail locations) at noon or earlier Sunday before the draw. Online ticket sales closed at 11:59 p.m. on Sat., Jan. 2.
