WINCHESTER – Judy Peddle a longtime employee with North Dundas has retired.
Her final day was Fri., July 10, when staff wished her well as she moved on to the next chapter of her life.
She was the deputy clerk and administration assistant for the township. Residents would run into her when they first came into the municipal building.
One of her jobs was taking payments and directing people to the right person depending what their issue was. She also was responsible for issuing marriage licences, burial permits and lottery licences.
Judy has worked for the township for 18 years.
On her last day on the job, municipal staff showed how much they appreciated the work she has done and she also heard from some of the businesses and residents she has served over the years.
When asked what was going to be next for her, Judy said, to “Enjoy my family and my time.”
