DIXON’S CORNERS – Community Living Dundas County held their 9th annual Ladies Night Out on Oct. 19 at Matilda Hall in Dixon’s Corners. The 200 available tickets were sold out almost completely in advance and made for a packed event.
Three fashion shows put on by Main Street Clothing Company, Juli Fashion Essentials and BiBa Casselman’s Show Store were the primary entertainment along with 20 vendors, a silent auction, raffle and good food. “It was amazing,” said Shayla Brush, the newest executive assistant. “We are really looking forward to next year as it will be our 10th anniversary and we are so grateful to all of the community support, it is amazing.”
All of the proceeds from the event will support the George Davidson Resource Fund, Snoezelen Room and Transportation. A final tally on money raised had not yet been released at press time.
