Rippin’ their way to Moose Creek

MOOSE CREEK — The Chesterville Rippin’ Racers attended their first swim meet of the season on Sun., July 16, in Moose Creek. Approximately 30 swimmers from the team took part in this first event along with Coach Shannon and Coach Mallory. The coaches were very impressed with many personal bests and cannot wait for the next swim meet.
The results for the Rippin’ Racers were: Faith McRae: 3rd in IM and 6th in breaststroke; Aidan Hutt: 3rd in butterfly, 4th in front crawl and 6th in breaststroke; Emily Rose Verman: 4th in butterfly; Sophy Sweeney: 2nd in butterfly and 6th in back crawl; Jaymee Cranham: 3rd in butterfly, 3rd in back crawl and 4th in front crawl; Eric De Vries: 2nd in butterfly, 2nd in front crawl and 3rd in breaststroke; Brooke Elliott: 6th in back crawl and 5th in breaststroke; Lauren Meharg: 3rd in back crawl, 3rd in front crawl and 2nd in breaststroke; William Vingerhoeds: 3rd in back crawl; Shealyn Elliott: 6th in back crawl, 6th in front crawl and 6th in breaststroke; Olivia Pereira: 4th in back crawl; Emma Gaudette: 3rd in IM, 3rd in back crawl and 5th in front crawl; Matt Pereira: 3rd in IM, 3rd in back crawl and 5th in front crawl; Luke VanDelst: 6th in front crawl and 5th in breaststroke; Sadie Thompson: 2nd in IM, 2nd in front crawl and 1st in breaststroke; Bethany VanDelst: 5th in front crawl; Alex VanDelst: 2nd in butterfly, 3rd in front crawl and 3rd in breaststroke; and Zander Thompson: 2nd in IM, 1st in butterfly and 2nd in breaststroke.
