WILLIAMSBURG – On Thurs., June 15, Timothy Christian School (TCS) hosted a family barbecue and fundraising event. The students were raising money to cover the costs of a new gaga ball pit that they designed and built. Gaga ball is a fast-paced dodge ball that is played in an octagonal enclosure. Students organized and ran stations for food, gaga ball, face painting and shuffleboard. Southgate Community Church generously brought their Bounce House, which was enjoyed by all the children, after which on Mon., June 19, the school celebrated Canada’s 150th birthday (left) by participating in different activities that helped the students appreciate Canadian geography, music, symbols and sports.
