EMBRUN – The new Embrun AutoTech/AutoValue shop on Bay St. in Embrun hosted its grand opening, including an open invitation to garage owners, representatives, parts suppliers and the public on Fri., June 9, and its first Show and Shine Car Show on Sat., June 10.
Owner Steven Morris estimated he welcomed over 200 visitors over the two-day celebration, and over 25 classic cars, trucks and even a few motorbikes were parked in his lot to be admired on Saturday, which was sunny with no sign of rain — perfect weather for showing off antique autos.
Morris and his wife Wendy (also an Embrun business owner at Earthly Essentials) ran out of barbecue fixings in mid-afternoon Saturday, but were pleased and surprised by the large turnout.
