The Editor:
I have been with the Chesterville Farmers’ Market going on seven years.
All of a sudden I have been told my jams have to be frozen to sell, they will thaw out a bit over the day, so I have to refreeze them again for the next market day for resale. That is not safe, as signed by the Eastern Health Unit.
Sorry customers, I am not to blame. Jams open are good for three weeks in the fridge and frozen six to nine months.
